Boston

When tragedy comes out of your hometown, the weight is especially heavy.

Back Bay, a neighborhood where I spent so much time growing up and where I worked for a year after college graduation, now seems so eerie and unfamiliar on all those news reports.

But I’m lucky; my friends and family in Boston who had been in the area left unscathed, though a few only narrowly.

I wish I had a more eloquent way of paying tribute to my hometown and the victims from yesterday, but for now, I just wish to be there right, giving everyone extra tight hugs.
